Yes. Town is not just a chatbot: it runs instruction and code routines, executes code in a sandbox, does web research, creates GitHub branches and PRs with approval, and has detailed per-tool approval controls. Skydive goes further with a persistent general-purpose computer per agent, a real interactive browser, app hosting, and a managed database.
Town documents web search and research. A real interactive browser you can watch live and take over for login, 2FA, or CAPTCHA is not publicly documented for Town. That live handoff, plus reaching your own computer through Portal, is a Skydive strength.
There is no workflow to rebuild. You describe the outcome you want, connect the tools the agent needs once, and it starts working. You do recreate any routines, skills, and schedules you rely on, since no automated migration is published between the two.
Town prices per person: individual plans run from a free tier up through Pro at 49 dollars per user per month (billed annually), and its team plans are priced per seat on a credit system. Skydive Team is a flat 99 dollars per month for unlimited seats and unlimited agents, plus metered usage. For a growing team, Skydive avoids per-seat math, though credit units are not directly comparable.
Each agent runs in its own isolated sandbox, and credentials are injected through a proxy so raw tokens stay out of prompts, logs, and memory. Town publishes SOC 2 Type 2 and CASA; Skydive is currently in beta, and security and compliance details are available on request.
